Nitte Counseling

For the attention of candidates appearing for Counselling for MDS on 16-03-2009

1. The candidates selected at the counselling, will have to immediately make full payment of 1st years Tuition fees and produce all the original documents of the copies of which were attached to the NU PGET application. Other documents to be submitted are (i) Photographs-passport size: 03, stamp size: 03 (ii) Blood Group and Physical Fitness certificates. Payment maybe made by Demand Draft drawn in favour of "Nitte University-A/c ABSMIDS" payable at Mangalore(Karnataka). The proposed fee structure also includes material cost. This however, excludes Hostel (Rent & Mess) charges.

2. In addition to the documents prescribed, the selected candidates belonging to Non-RGUHS will have to produce Eligibility Certificate issued by Nitte University. (A separate application will have to be made to the University while reporting with payment of Rs.3,000/- by cash or DD drawn in favour of "Nitte University" payable at Mangalore (Karnataka).

3. Withdrawal after admission and refund: Withdrawal will be allowed till the last date of the 1st round of counselling by CET only, after deducting 10% towards administrative charges. A separate application on plain paper will have to be made giving reasons for withdrawal enclosing the receipt towards payment of 1st years tuition fees in original.

Second Round Counselling

After the first round of counselling for GM candidates on 16-03-2009, subject to vacancy, second round of counselling will be held on 23-03-2009 at the University Office at Deralakatte, Mangalore. Vacancy will be notified on 17-03-2009 on our website.

Counselling for Tulu quota

Counselling for Tulu quota: will be held at the University Office at Deralakatte on 30-03-2009 (tentatively).

Casual vacancy round: Subject to vacancy, casual round of counselling will be held on 25-04-2009, and the details will be notified on the website at the appropriate time.

COUNSELLING FOR MDS ON 16-03-2009
Candidates bearing NUPGET – 2009 ranks between 1 and 100 are
requested to appear for counselling, at their own cost, on 16-03-2009
at 10.00 a.m at University Office.
Counselling will be done 45% of total seats (=23 seats) as detailed
below under General Merit.

Please note that
· 25% of the total seats (=12) is set aside for allotment by Govt.
of Karnataka i.e CET by RGUHS.
· 10% of the total seats is proposed to reserve for Tulu minority.
· 20% of the total seats will be for NRI and Institutional
Preference.
· The proposed fee structure : I year - Rs. 4.775 lakhs
II year - Rs. 4.635 lakhs
III year - Rs. 4.635 lakhs
· In case withdrawal after admission, fee will be refunded till the
last date of 1st round of counselling by CET.
